The latest update to Nokia's S60 3rd Edition is called Feature Pack 2, and it brings several interface updates to help make it a bit more user friendly. Eldar from Mobile-Review.com has taken over 100 screen shots of the UI in action, for our enjoyment.

While we in the media were focused on Sprint's new $99.99 Simply Everything plan, it seems that we failed to pick up on a slightly scaled back plan that offers unlimited voice, messaging, and push to talk services for even less money.

Last week Europe's ETSI, the group responsible for defining Europe's telecom standards, approved of the GSMA's Host Controller Interface specification for its Near Field Communications system, paving the way for wide scale NFC use in cell phones.

Vodafone UK recently began shipping Samsung's SGH-i640v smartphone, a device it announced last September. This Vodafone version of the i640 sports the same Windows Mobile 6 OS and slide out QWERTY keyboard as the original.
