Skype to Offer $9.95/month Plan with Unlimited International Calls

According to AP, Skype will introduce a new unlimited plan this Monday to allow unlimited international calls. Unlimited calls to US and Canada has been available at $3/month, the new plan will be priced at $9.95 monthly.

While the new calling plan allow unlimited calls to international destination, up to 34 countries are included in this offer. According to the report the countries will include most of Europe, plus Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Malaysia.

You can make unlimited calls to traditional land lines, but unlimited calls to mobile phones will be only applied to US, Canada, China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Detail will be available when official announcement is made on Monday.

HTC Touch Dual for US Got FCC Approval

FCC has just approved the HTC touch dual, which will be released in US this quarter. the HTC Touch Dual combines the touch screen with integrated TouchFLO and slide-out keypad. Best Buy will be the first to offer the HTC Touch Dual in US when available.

The prototype picture from the FCC also unveiled the 20-key SureType keypad design for the US HTC Touch Dual. It will be powered by the upcoming Windows Mobile 6.1 professional.

Features of the HTC Touch Dual include the following:

  • TouchFLO, a touch-screen technology that allows finger-touch scrolling, panning and photo zooming
  • Slide-out 20-key keyboard for quick dialing, text messages and e-mail
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
  • Microsoft Office Mobile for working on documents and getting your Outlook e-mail
  • 2 megapixel camera for shooting photos/videos and a second camera for video calls
  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) and HSDPA (850/1900Mhz) connectivity

Samsung announced today the availability of the Samsung Soul, the “ultimate essence of mobile” will be available from April 21. The Soul will be available through major European mobile operators and in most open markets supporting GSM.
