Handango and
Capcom Interactive, Inc., today announced a partnership to distribute top gaming titles to North American smartphone users.
The first titles to launch on
Handango will be from the
Who Wants to be a Millionaire franchise. This partnership marks Handango's continued goal of bringing high-profile, branded games and other popular consumer applications to its customers.

Capcom's mobile games will be available on Handango's online storefront and through its on-device client and available for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile platforms.

Virgin Mobile USA has just start selling their first Samsung handset, the Samsung Slash slider phone. Retailing at just $79.99, Slash is a slim slider phone comes equipped with a VGA camera, Bluetooth wireless technology, and full messaging capabilities (IM, text messaging and email).

Light and compact, Slash by Samsung weighs in at just 3-ounces and measures 3.8″ by 1.8″ by 0.7″. Its battery life offers customers up to 3.5 hours of talk time and a week of standby time (approximately 170 hours). Games such as Gameloft Jukebox and Superscape® Demo come preloaded on the handset. The Sony Ericsson K850 is a 5 megapixel cameraphone with a host of photographer friendly features, such as BestPic. Russell takes the K850 out for spin and comes up impressed by the phone overall, though he questions the odd d-pad controller.
